The Philadelphia Sketch Club

A Long History of Artists
Four AOY members had work included in

The Philadelphia's Sketch Club's
146th Annual Exhibition of small oil paintings.
The show ran from April 10 to May 2.

Members who had work in the show were Renee Egan with "Catskill Summer", John Ennis with "Twinings", Cynthia Groya won an Honorable mention for "Garden View", and Bill Hogan with "Along Railroad Avenue". The Philadelphia Sketch Club is America's oldest artists club, founded in 1860. Many distinguished artists who have been members over the years include N.C. Wyeth, Howard Chandler Christy, Walter Baum, Daniel Garber, Edward Redfield and Ranulph Bye. "Small oils" is one of the longest running exhibitions in the country.
